Former Bath Natural History Society secretary Dr Kate Souter has a chapter on Tree Sparrows included in a newly published book, In Rare Company – Uplifting encounters with Britain’s struggling wildlife from a collective of nature enthusiasts from all corners of the British Isles called Naturewrights.
The publishers say: ‘In Rare Company is a collection of 15 illustrated essays by members of the Naturewrights writing collective in which uplifting encounters with rarely seen species of British wildlife are recounted in prose or poetry.
