Focus: Late summer migrant birds leaving and early winter migrants returning. Also, invertebrates still active around the ponds and surrounds. If time and weather allow, we’ll be crossing the road into Stockhill woods where we may see Crossbill, Firecrest and Goshawk.
Description: Undulating terrain, with likely marshy or boggy areas, so stout boots or preferably wellies are required. Stockhill is prone to deep puddles so keep to main paths. Elevenses and/or lunch required.
