Focus: General interest, natural history, in particular birds, and local history.
Description: Circular walk of 4.3 miles, taking in the lakes and woods in the grounds of Bath Spa University, up to Wilmington through pasture and along quiet lanes, then returning to Newton St Loe via Whistling Copse. Mainly level walking with one moderate climb of about 50 m. Uneven in places and muddy if wet. Waterproof stout footwear recommended and please bring a packed lunch (to be carried).
