Focus: Late winter birds.
Description: A 3km walk over gently sloping parkland, mainly pasture, with free standing mature oaks and a lake. We should see an assortment of gulls and waterfowl on the lake, woodpeckers and winter thrushes around mature oaks and smaller birds in the hedgerows and churchyard. Bring binoculars if you have some. As it could be cold and wet, please dress appropriately. Some rough and muddy ground so walking boots are advised.
