Moths at The American Museum & Gardens

Meet: American Museum and Gardens, Claverton Hill, Bath, BA2 7BD (ST 783 639). Car parking on site, two car parks. Meet at front of museum.
Focus: Moth identification and recording.
Description: Part of American Museum & Gardens Nature Day, suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced, and good for children. Moth traps set up overnight and opened in morning. Moths are removed from trap, viewed, identified and recorded. Moths are not harmed, they fly off or are gently released into nearby shrubs.
This event will be followed by a Bath Nats-led nature walk at 12:00.
Note : Viewing the moth traps will not incur a charge but entry to the actual museum or the gardens is not included, so visiting either will incur normal American Museum & Gardens admission costs. Café/toilets on site.
