Focus: Birds, butterflies and orchids
Description: Birds may include Turtle Dove (though getting increasingly rare), Grey Partridge, Cuckoo, Yellowhammer, Corn Bunting etc. Up to 25 species of butterflies and many species of moth could be found.
Fairly easy going, though can get rutted due to rain. We will go down to the valley then up the hill, and will circumnavigate as much of the site as time permits. Stout boots may be needed. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of liquid, if it’s warm.
