Focus: Flora and fauna. There should be some late butterflies and crickets/grasshoppers.
Description: An exploration and familiarisation of the park. Formerly a quarry and landfill site. The source of the River Lyn. There are some interesting conifers including Black Pines. Probably no more than a mile, but there are relatively steep slopes, so good boots recommended. There is a café with toilets on site.
