Description: Over the last 50 years, data submitted to the Bristol Regional Environmental Records Centre has provided a unique insight into how our plants and animals are faring in the West of England region.
Everyday observations by the public play a key role in understanding changes and helping advise how we can protect our environment. Discover how all of us can contribute and hear the good and not so good stories of nature conservation locally. Ray Barnett has recently completed two years as President of the British Entomological & Natural History Society. He took early retirement from his post as Head of Collections & Archives for the Bristol City Council Culture & Creatives Industries in December 2022 but continues to contribute to heritage and nature conservation in the region.
