Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve joint RSPB / BNHS trip

Must be booked in advance  by 17 March 2026 using the RSPB form

Finish: 18:30 (approx.)
Focus: Flora and Fauna. Arriving summer migrants and local breeding species of Dartford Warbler, Larks, Pipits, and raptors, possibly Osprey, White-tailed Eagle and Spoonbills. Heathland species of butterflies and other insects, lizards and spiders.
Description: The reserve is a vast site with many good paths. Stay with leaders or wander by yourself. We will visit hides on our way down to the beach at Mudeford Sandbank, a round trip of approximately 4 miles. For those less able there is a land train which you can catch at a cost of £5.00. Bring lunch and drinks. Toilets and café available at visitor centre.
