Meet: Turn off the A36 Warminster Bypass on to the A350 south then take first right to Crockerton and then right on to Clay Street and meet at the car park opposite Shearwater Lake, ST854420. Landranger 183/Explorer 143.
Focus: Birds and winter wildlife.
Description: Gentle stroll along the lake margin and through woodland looking for winter visitors and water fowl. Refreshments may be available in the tearooms, or alternatively bring a packed lunch. Usually solid underfoot but be prepared for inclement weather.
