Meet: Beach Road, Severn Beach (free parking), ST539850, BS35 4PE. Landranger 172/Explorer 154, Anyone wishing to travel by train rather than road, contact the leader for times. Rail journey of about 1 hour.
Focus: Gulls, waders and ducks
Description: Easy walk along the sea wall as the tide rises and birds move nearer the coast. Toilets and cafe available nearby or bring packed lunch. Optional do-it-yourself extension to visit Pilning Wetlands in the afternoon. Sturdy boots or shoes recommended.
