Bathwick to Bathampton via Batheaston

Meet: Beckford Road by the canal, ST 758654. Landranger 172/Explorer 155. No roadside parking nearby but buses stop on Beckford Road.
Focus: Bird song, particularly warblers, butterflies and dragonflies. Hopefully, Sedge Warblers will have returned to breed in Bathampton Meadows NT fields. Possible Red Kite, Kingfisher.
Description: See Bath Nats website Walks. You can download the PDF giving full description of the walk and the route. Route can be broken into smaller sections, members can have option to end walk in Batheaston and bus back into the city. Mainly level walk of approximately 5.5 miles. Walking boots recommended. Picnic lunch to be carried.
